Slick roads may to blame for big rig crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) The accident happened on the 610 South Loop near Cullen. The 18-wheeler driver apparently lost control and hit the concrete wall and the semi was left dangling. Chunks of concrete fell onto the roadway below.

Authorities had to block the left turn lane for a while until crews were able to clean up the chunks of concrete. The traffic has since reopened to traffic.

The driver wasn't injured in the accident. There is no official word whether the weather played a role in the accident.
