Besides Wiley and Holliday, who had seven points, fellow reserve Joseph Jack scored 13 points and had a game-high eight rebounds.
Aaron Smith made six of 12 from 3-point range and scored 22 points for Prairie View (2-10). Derek Johnson was the other Panther in double figures with 16.
Holliday's 3-pointer broke a 48-48 tie with 8:16 remaining in the game, and Jack scored five points during a quick 7-0 run that put the Jaguars ahead 63-55 with 3:23 left. The Panthers got no closer than five after that.
Jazz Williams, with 13 points, was the only Southern starter in double figures.
