Ricardo Rangel, 25, is charged with improper relationship with a student and sexual assault of a child. He is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl from January to June 2013.
Rangel was a math teacher at Elsik High School at the time the relationship began. He started working there in August 2012, and resigned on January 31, 2013, according to court documents.
