Harris County sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Kluge Road Wednesday in response to a report about a peacock attacking women.
While one woman was being interviewed by a deputy, the bird began attacking her.
The deputy used a Taser to stop the peacock, but when that didn't work, the owner of the peacock shot it with his shotgun.
Charges were not filed.
