Therapy dogs teach bully prevention in Texas schools

February 7, 2014 3:27:52 AM PST
A group in Texas is using therapy dogs to try and prevent bullying in schools.

CNN reports that the program is called Paws Against Bullying, and it uses "man's best friend" to shine a new light on one of America's growing problems -- bullying.

The dog handlers go into schools and use at least two dogs, usually both large and small, to ask questions and use role playing to demonstrate that bullies can come in all shapes and sizes. Paws Against Bullying is spearheaded by Angel Paws Waco.
