The accident happened on Beechnut near Corporate around 12:45am.
Police say a Chevy Blazer rear-ended a Suburban. The Suburban pulled into a parking lot and the Blazer followed.
Police say the driver of the Blazer got out and fired a single shot into the Suburban. A woman was hit in the chest. She was taken to the hospital and should survive. Her husband was at the wheel and was not hurt.
