Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 200 block of West Saint Charles in Crosby around 2:30am. When they arrived, they found 47-year-old Earl Green dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Several witnesses told investigators they saw the victim talking to a man in a gold sedan prior to the shooting.
