It happened at around 12:40am on West Little York near the North Freeway.
Police say three men arrived at the complex, when they were approached by three suspects. They forced them into an apartment with three women inside.
Authorities say the suspects robbed them before shooting one man in the chest and abdomen. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspects fled the scene.
