UH hosts 23rd annual Texas Music Festival

HOUSTON

It's the 23rd year of the Texas Music Festival at the University of Houston. College students from around the world come here for the one month training program.

The best part is that they perform live for audiences several nights a week at the Moore's Opera House on campus.

"This is a gift to the concert-goers and public of Houston," said festival director Alan Austin. "It's an exciting thing to see young people discovering music, some for the first time."

Tickets are only $15 and parking is free. More information can be found on their website.
