He even had two extra tickets.
The football star surprised his more than 171,000 Twitter followers Sunday with an unusual invitation.
"I have 2 tickets to the Houston rodeo in a suite with me.! If anybody is serious about coming. Starts at 3:30, first person wins !!!"
A man named Vishal Desai immediately replied, "me" and then asked, "was i the first one? am i going to the Houston rodeo with you?!?!"
Foster confirmed and got Desai's phone number so he could let him know where to pick up the tickets.
"Hurry an get here bro!!" Foster told him.
Desai and a friend, Pooja Patel, met Foster in the suite where they took photos, got autographs and watched some rodeo action.
Desai and Patel left the suite Sunday evening with memories they won't soon forget. Desai sent a tweet to the Texan, thanking him for everything and wishing him good luck in the coming season.
"Likewise bro," Foster replied.
When we asked Patel what it was like to sit in the suite with Foster, she said it was "amazing. He's so down to earth and humble. We talked and had a nice conversation. Great guy."
"Arian Foster is an amazing guy. He took time out just for us and made sure we were having a great time," Desai said.
Could more surprises like this be coming on Foster's Twitter account? He left a hint Sunday that there may be.
