Authorities in Fort Worth issued the alert for 11-year-old Jessica Smith late Tuesday afternoon. Investigators say her mother, Kimberly, disappeared with the girl earlier this week, and they believe the child may be in danger. Police wouldn't go into more details but say Jessica's parents are in the process of getting divorced.
Jessica and her mother are believed to be traveling in a silver 2007 Mazda CX9. It has Texas license plate, BMZ 390. If you see them call police.
