HOUSTON --An 18-wheeler that lost part of its load caused a traffic backup on the Southwest Freeway early Monday morning. That refrigerated truck was carrying boxes of fish, when it hit a wall and caused a traffic backup. The truck was stopped on the shoulder of the Southwest Freeway northbound near Dunlavy. The driver told investigators that he swerved to avoid another vehicle, when the right side of the truck hit the wall.
Crews have cleaned up the spill, and the remaining load of fish was moved to a new truck.
