This follows an anonymous letter sent over the holidays that mentions an incident involving the writer's child. It then threatens the superintendent's family and random students with violence unless nine specific rules are followed.
"The threats have disrupted emergency services and threatened the lives of children and others in our community," said Matagorda County District Attorney Steven Reis.
