Another threatening letter found in Bay City

BAY CITY, TX In a release issued on Wednesday, the DA's office says the letter appears to have been written in the same style and manners as a previous letter, which demanded changes within the Bay City ISD. The letter has been taken into evidence and is now being analyzed.

This follows an anonymous letter sent over the holidays that mentions an incident involving the writer's child. It then threatens the superintendent's family and random students with violence unless nine specific rules are followed.

"The threats have disrupted emergency services and threatened the lives of children and others in our community," said Matagorda County District Attorney Steven Reis.

If anyone has information on the origin of the letter or the person responsible for the letter, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 979-245-1856 or Bay City Police at 979-245-8500.
