The story for "The Fields" was written by a former DEA agent. Morgan will play a detective from New York. Worthington will portray a local investigator.
Local murder mystery getting Hollywood treatment
HOUSTON
If you've lived in Houston long enough, you probably know about the so-called "killing fields" along I-45 and Calder Road in Galveston County.
Those unsolved murders are being made into a movie with two big name stars -- Sam Worthington of Avatar and Terminator Salvation and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who you may know from Watchmen or Grey's Anatomy.
