Woman trapped in chain reaction wreck

HOUSTON The chain reaction accident happened Friday night on the North Loop near Highway 290. It started when a car swerved. That caused the SUV to lose control and hit the car. The SUV then rolled onto the shoulder landing on its side.

A woman was trapped in the SUV. Rescuers cut her out of the vehicle and she was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the car was not hurt. He said he swerved after being cut off by a taxi cab.
