Suspect in police custody manages to escape

HOUSTON It happened on Bingham at Holly Street. Police arrested the man around 3:30am and put him in the back seat of a police vehicle when he somehow managed to kick out the back window and escape.

Deputies used K-9 units and an HPD helicopter, but could not find the suspect. However, authorities say they know who he is and likely places to where he might run.
