One of them happened on Shepherd near West Little York in northwest Houston. Police found one person dead and two others wounded inside a white vehicle around 1am in the area near I-45 and Beltway 8
Authorities say the people inside the car were allegedly trying to rob the individuals inside the truck pulling a boat. Police say the suspects fired towards the truck and the truck driver fired back and then began chasing the suspects.
Four people were inside the white car and three of those people were shot. One person died and the two others are in a hospital undergoing surgery.
Authorities say they found weapons inside the car.
Police say they have talked to the intended robbery victim. The case will likely be sent to a grand jury to determine if any charges will be filed against the truck driver.
