The HISD Foundation has raised money in the past to help pay for 10th graders to take the PSAT to prepare for college. The Foundation also has helped HISD expand early childhood education, improve dropout prevention and fund summer fellowships for teachers, among other efforts in support of Texas' largest school district.
"The HISD Foundation does great work for children and we look forward to a successful golf tournament," said HISD superintendent Abelardo Saavedra.
