HOUSTON Beginnig at 9pm tonight, the westbound lanes of I-10 from Washington to the 610 Loop and multiple connector ramps will be closed. Traffic will be detoured at Washington. The lanes and ramps will re-open at 5am Monday.
At the same time, the westbound direct connector ramps from the Katy Freeway westbound to the West Loop northbound and southbound will be closed.

Meanwhile, the Katy Freeway westbound to Beltway 8
southbound direct connector ramp will be closed beginning 10 PM Sunday until
August. Traffic will detour to the new I-10 westbound to Beltway 8 northbound direct connector ramp. See a map of the detour.
Additional Katy Freeway Program closures include:
TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound frontage road between Beningus and Gessner
beginning 9 PM, Friday, April 4 to 5 AM, Monday, April 7. Traffic will detour to the I-10 eastbound mainlanes
to exit at Bunker Hill, U-turn at the signalized intersection to the I-10 westbound frontage road to Gessner.
TOTAL CLOSURE of the Gessner exit from the Beltway 8 northbound to I-10 eastbound direct connector
ramp beginning 9 PM, Friday, April 4 to 5 AM, Monday, April 7. Traffic will detour to I-10 eastbound, exit
Bunker Hill and U-turn through the signalized intersection to the I-10 westbound frontage road to Gessner.
TOTAL CLOSURE of I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound and westbound between Wilcrest and Gessner nightly
Sunday, April 6 through Sunday, April 13 from 10 PM to 5 AM for demolition activities. Traffic will detour to
the respective frontage roads.
Motorists are reminded to expect multiple mainlane and frontage road closures and should be prepared for traffic
delays when traveling in the vicinity of the I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange. For a complete list of lane closures along
