HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The cooler air from earlier this week has faded away, and while the weekend will be warmer, it should be good one for outdoor activities.
Temperatures overnight will drop into the 50s north of I-10 but only into the 60s south of I-10. This has to do with the easterly wind, which is a dry wind north of I-10 but picks up more warm, humid Gulf air south of I-10.
Sunshine will be abundant, warming temperatures into the mid 80s during the afternoon. There will be enough moisture for a stray shower near the coast, otherwise it will be completely dry.
You can expect lows near 60 and highs in the mid 80s with comfortable humidity levels Sunday. The sky will be almost completely sunny, so don't expect any rain.
Rain chances look slim to none over the next 10 days, but we are seeing signs that a pattern change around the end of the month could bring back some rain opportunities.
Well...probably yes. We now predict a high of 90 on Thursday, but it could hit 90 as early as Wednesday.
Potential Storm 15 now has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression or storm named Nadine before making landfall in Central America this Saturday. Head to our daily Tropical Update page for a complete look at what we're covering in the tropics.
