Going to Texas waterparks? Here's what it will cost

Schlitterbahn in Galveston is a great way to escape the summer heat and season passes pay off after three visits. A general admission ticket for anyone 12 and up is $52.99. Online passes are $144.99 which includes free parking, free tubes and you can bring in your own coolers.
If you plan on going more than once this summer, a summer pass is the way to go. That will cost you around $500 for the entire family, if you take advantage of their online discount.
Typhoon Texas is a popular waterpark in Katy. Season passes are $64.99. This includes 15 percent off in-park purchases and early entry.
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown has a new name and new fun with season passes starting at $65.99. This includes free parking and a free 'bring a friend pass' on certain days. It starts paying for itself after just two visits with daily admission going for $41.99. There are membership options starting at $6.60 a month offering discounts on in-park purchases too.
Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures, located north of Kingwood, has a weekday special available only online. Ticket prices on Monday through Thursday is $16.48, which is 55% off regular admission. Weekend admission for those over 48" is $39.99 and for those under 48" is $34.99.
