UH Coogs get ready for Peach Bowl against Florida State University

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It is official. The University of Houston will play in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia on December 31.

Today representatives from the Peach Bowl formally invited University of Houston to the game. We've known for several days that U of H will play Florida State University, but Friday it became official.

For the schools playing in the Peach Bowl the game will bring big bucks. The Peach Bowl has dedicated $4 million to each school for playing the game plus $2 million to each school for travel expenses. In addition, the Peach Bowl and Chick-fil-A will set up a $50,000 scholarship endowment at each school.
