Man killed by train along tracks in Kingwood

KINGWOOD, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police say a man was fatally hit by a train in Kingwood early Monday morning.

The details of how the man was struck aren't clear.

Police say he was found dead on the tracks behind a shopping center on Hamblen Road at the TX-494 Loop just before 3 a.m.

The man's identity has not been released.
