18-wheeler overturned during major crash in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An 18-wheeler overturned during a major crash in northwest Harris County Wednesday night.

It happened just before 10 p.m. in the 11100 block of Veterans Memorial near West Gulf Bank.

Deputies say minor injuries were reported.

The wreck shut down the north and southbound lanes, which have since reopened.

Streets in the area were slick from the rain, but it's unknown if the crash was caused by wet roads.
