HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Fashionable bargain hunters are in luck!
One of the year's biggest treasure hunts for designer duds at discount prices starts today.
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary "Chic Boutique" begins April 14 and will remain open through the weekend. Each year, Auxiliary members sort and itemize high-end clothing and accessory donations and put together a four-day boutique.
More than $8 million has been raised in the 16 years the boutique has been in operation.

You can expect to find designer brands at steep discounts and all the proceeds go toward a good cause.
"We're really excited this year because we are hands on, people can come in, socially distance with our masks and they can touch and feel, and we have small tiny dressing rooms." said Chic Boutique Chair Gayle Eury. "In-person shopping [is what] we are most thrilled about."
You can visit the boutique at 3701 West Alabama, Suite 160.
Today, the store is open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a $20 donation. There's no entrance fee for the rest of the week when doors open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday.
