A former Magnolia ISD second-grade teacher is now in custody and charged with an improper relationship between an educator and a student, records show.
The 39-year-old teacher faces several charges after allegedly sexually assaulting at least six students in his classroom at KIPP Houston High School.
The former teacher, facing charges of soliciting a minor and sexual performance of a child, is also the son of the Edna ISD superintendent.
Authorities say that after the student gave permission for the teacher to pick her up, he took her to a location in Polk County and engaged in sex acts with her in the back of his vehicle before dropping her off at her residence.
Documents allege the teacher and student began a friendship while playing "Game Pigeon." Things then escalated into him reportedly forcing her to kiss him.
The 63-year-old former teacher allegedly had an explicit video call with a 14-year-old student and fondled her in a parked car.
