Four suspects in a black Bronco are believed to have driven by the victims, shooting at them, and pistol-whipping another, according to police.
HPD said two people are dead and more than a dozen others were hurt after gunfire erupted outside of a southeast Houston nightclub on Sunday.
Investigators said four children were inside when bullets were shot into the house. Houston police said they were not injured, but three adults were hospitalized.
Officials confirmed the victim died at the hospital after being shot at an apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
"Right now, we don't want to go back to that house for fear of something else happening," the mother of the 11-year-old said.
Police said the 11-year-old boy was playing basketball with his brother when a vehicle, which had driven by a couple of times, stopped and fired two gunshots.
