Person found shot to death at southeast Houston park, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A person is dead after a shooting in southeast Houston on Thursday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.

Officials said they found the person's body at a park, but did not say exactly where the shooting occurred.

SkyEye13 was overhead at the scene, where a heavy law enforcement presence was seen near Great Hawk Lane and Blackhawk Ridge Lane.
