SUV driver slams into METRO bus in NW Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A wreck involving a METRO bus in northwest Harris County sent at least three people to the hospital.

The accident happened around 10:30am on Torrey Chase and FM 1960.

The METRO bus was stopped, letting off passengers when an SUV slammed into the back of the bus. The SUV driver had to be pulled by the Jaws of Life. Two people on board the bus were transported to North Medical Hospital.

According to METRO's spokesperson, they all suffered non-life threatening injuries.
