Stage Stores employees briefly locked out at corporate headquarters

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Employees at the corporate office of Stage Stores showed up to work to find locked doors on Tuesday morning.

According to Stage -- the parent company of retailers including Bealls, Goodys, Palais Royal and others -- there was a dispute between the company and the landlord of the building on the West Loop.

Employees were eventually allowed into the building around 10 a.m.
