HOUSTON --Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton andTexans receiver Will Fuller Vare both active for Thursday night's game in Houston.
Hilton, who missed the previous three games with a calf injury, did not practice Monday or Tuesday this week, but he was listed as a full participant on the team's injury report Wednesday. Hilton leads the Colts in receptions with 32 and is second in yards with 360, despite missing four games this season.
Hilton has had a lot of success against the Texans in Houston since he entered the NFL in 2012. He has games of 121 receiving yards in 2013, 223 yards in 2014, 175 yards in 2017 and 199 yards last season.
Fuller has been out since he left Houston's Week 7 game in Indianapolis with a hamstring injury. Since 2017, quarterbackDeshaun Watson'syards per attempt increases over a full yard -- and his QBR climbs 16 points -- when Fuller is on the field, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.
Fuller has 34 catches for 450 yards and three touchdowns this season. Wide receiver Keke Coutee will not play.
Hilton's return will help offset the loss of running back Marlon Mack, who is inactive after suffering a fractured hand against Jacksonville in Week 11. Mack leads the Colts in rushing with 862 yards. Jonathan Williams, who rushed for 116 yards after replacing Mack following his injury, is expected to be the Colts' primary running back against the Texans.
Both teams are dealing with injuries in the secondary. Colts starting rookie defensive backs Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) and Khari Willis (concussion) are both inactive. Texans cornerbacks Bradley Roby (hamstring) andLonnie Johnson Jr. (ankle) are inactive. Safety Justin Reid will not play after leaving the Texans' Week 11 game with a concussion.
Earlier in the day, the Texans activated tight end Jordan Thomasoff injured reserve. He is active for the game.
