SHENANDOAH, TX -- College Park kept its postseason hopes alive by rallying from a 14-point halftime deficit to beat Conroe 27-24 on Friday night in a District 16-6A thriller at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

The Cavs (3-7, 2-4) will clinch the league's fourth and final playoff spot if The Woodlands defeats Kingwood tonight. Conroe (3-7, 0-6), meanwhile, will head into the offseason on the heels of six consecutive losses.

"Our kids did what they've done all year," College Park coach Richard Carson said. "They're resilient; they fought to the end. ... There was no magic bean, there were no magic plays, it was just coming out and executing, and our kids did a great job of not quitting. I'm so proud of them I can't put it into words."
