The AFC South just got tougher.
The Buffalo Bills will trade wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in exchange for draft pick compensation, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Diggs was drafted 146th overall in 2015 by the Minnesota Vikings. He was traded to Buffalo in 2020.
During his four seasons with the Bills, Diggs led the NFL in receptions with 445. Looking at the bigger picture, he has 810 career receptions, the third most in any player's first nine seasons in the NFL behind Antonio Brown (837) and Marvin Harrison (845).
He recorded 107 receptions, 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns with the Bills in the 2023 season.
Diggs will join forces with Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, who was named the 2023 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Players around the league reacted to the trade on social media.
