HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for a group of guys they say have been on a crime spree, targeting fast food restaurants in southwest Houston.
Police believe four suspects are responsible for six robberies, occurring in August and October. In all the incidents, the suspects entered the business, pointed a dark-colored, semi-automatic pistol at an employee and demanded money from the register and the restaurant safe. In at least one of the robberies, one of the suspects posed as a customer while the other three suspects robbed the location. In the last two incidents at Wendy's and Walmart, at least one of the suspects is seen wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses.
The robberies occurred at the following locations:
Two suspects are described only as black males, 24 to 27 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds with a slim build. The suspects wore dark clothing and were armed with a semi-automatic handgun. A third suspect is described as either a light-skinned black or possibly Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 185 pounds. The fourth suspect is described only as a black male with a dark brown complexion and weighing about 200 pounds. He has a stocky build and wore a baseball cap with a yellow bill. In at least two of the robberies, the suspects were seen wearing baseball caps with the letters "C. O. D"' on them. In at least one of the incidents, the suspects fled in a gray Dodge Avenger.
Anyone with information in these cases is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
