Man detained after allegedly shooting former roommate to death in NW Harris County, sheriff says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- One man is dead after being allegedly shot by his former roommate in northwest Harris County on Tuesday, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene at a complex at 7740 W. Little York.

Deputies say that the wounded man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, it is unclear what led to the shooting.
