Person dead after 911 caller reports robbery at gunpoint in north Harris County, HCSO says
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A person is dead, and another is injured after a shooting in north Harris County, according to the sheriff's office.
According to deputies, a 911 caller reported being robbed at gunpoint in the 900 block of Pear Street on Sunday afternoon and that they were following the alleged suspect.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office then said that the caller reported he was shot on John Alber Road near Bauman Road.
HCSO is reporting that one person has been shot and another has been pronounced dead, adding that it is unknown if the person who died is the victim or the suspect.
HCSO said an investigation is underway.
