Soldier surprises girlfriend with proposal at Philadelphia International Airport

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- A hallway of arrivals and departures became a place for a new beginning Thursday night.

Taylor Naphys, who serves in the Army, arrived at the Philadelphia International Airport where he was met by his girlfriend, Gianna Pabon.

In addition to a welcome kiss and hug, Naphys got down on one knee and proposed.

Pavon, who's also in the Army, said yes!

And their new family is about to get even bigger.

"I'm expecting a little girl come July 5, hopefully the 4th of July," said Pabon. "I'm eight months so we got a lot coming for us."

Naphys and Pabon live in New Jersey now, but they're headed to Fort Bragg in a few weeks.
