Two men held up a pawn shop at gunpoint in April

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A violent robbery at a southwest side business is caught on camera, but the men responsible remain on the run. A reward is being offered to help track them down.

Houston police say on April 23, two men walked into the EZ Pawn shop at 5502 Bellaire just before noon. One suspect walked inside the store while the other stood at the door as a lookout. The suspect who entered the store pointed a gun at the store employee and demanded money from the cash register. He then went to the jewelry display cases and ordered the employee to open them. The suspect then stole an undetermined amount of jewelry.

Both suspects fled westbound on Bellaire in what is believed to be a white Chrysler sedan.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males. One is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has short hair. He was wearing a black Oakland Raiders cap, a long-sleeve white shirt and was armed with a black and silver semi-automatic pistol. The other suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with a black shirt, white gloves and a black bandana.

Anyone with information in this case or on the identities of the suspects in the surveillance video is urged to contact the HPD Westside Robbery Division at 281-584-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
