HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man who climbed on top of his vehicle and appeared to dance in the middle of Houston's Friday morning commute has been detained by police.
It all happened on the Eastex Freeway inbound at East Mt. Houston, where the man was stopped next to an 18-wheeler in the right lane of traffic.
Not much is known yet about why he was stopped on the side of the road. What we do know is the man could be seen standing on top of the vehicle as other drivers steered around the car.
ABC13 anchor Samica Knight discusses the scene on Facebook Live:
When officers arrived, the man dropped to his knees and placed his hands behind his head. He was taken into custody without incident.

An ambulance arrived on the scene thereafter. The man's condition is not known.
