Carbon monoxide suspected in 2 deaths in Walker County

NEW WAVERLY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people found dead in New Waverly may have been killed by carbon monoxide poisoning.

A man and a woman were found unconscious in a building Tuesday morning. A generator was running inside when they were found.

The Walker County Sheriff's Office does not suspect the deaths were criminal.

An investigation is ongoing.
