Police seek armed suspect who shot man at bus stop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The search is on for an armed suspect who shot a man as he waited for a METRO bus in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened around 3am at 2124 Holly Hall at Knight Road, near NRG Park.

Police say the victim was approached by a man with gun who then fired three shots, striking the victim at least once in the abdomen.

The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries.

METRO police are now investigating.
