Deputies: Man shot multiple times in home invasion in Spring

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- Deputies say a man was shot multiple times during a home invasion in Spring.

According to authorities, three gunmen forced their way into an apartment on Hirschfield Road around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted the suspects held residents at gunpoint and then shot a man. The man was taken to the hospital.

Five people were inside the apartment at the time including a one-year-old and a 10-year-old.
