Layaway angel pays off Pennsylvania mom's K-Mart Christmas gifts
FEASTERVILLE, PA -- A Bucks County mom says she has an angel to thank for making Christmas a merry one in her house.
Donelle Walton reached out to Action News to say thank you to the stranger who paid off her layaway balance at K-Mart in Feasterville.
Donelle has four-and-a-half year old twins, each of whom has developmental issues.
She wanted to make their Christmas dreams come true.
But K-Mart called her this week to let her know that someone else had picked up the tab for the toys on her list.
"Thank you. Thank you for doing this. That's really sweet of you. That's so kind of you to not know us to go in and pay for our layaway," Donelle said.
She hopes her layaway angel sees this and knows just how much that simple act of generosity meant to her and her family.
Similar acts of kindness have been given in Massachusetts and South Dakota.
