Christian Rappers claim Katy Perry stole song, tainted it with 'Black Magic'

A Christian singing group claims Katy Perry's Dark Horse is more Copy Cat.

The Christian rappers are from Missouri, and they claim Perry copied one of their hit songs. Listen to it here.

According to the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch, the Christian song "Joyful Noise" was written in 2007 and released in 2008. The lawsuit points out that their song received a 2008 Gospel Music Association Dove Award nomination for the best rap/hip-hop song.

The suit claims Perry's song, "Dark Horse," not only rips off their music, but its given them a bum rap by tarnishing their image with witchcraft, black magic and Illuminati imagery.
