KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Katy High School's banner football season continues with more accolades including a record number of players named to the all-state team.
On the defensive side, 6-A Defensive Player of the Year Colin Wilder says his teammates are to thank for the success. He started a record 64 straight games in the Tigers secondary.
"I just wanted to make sure I took advantage them (opportunities)," Wilder said.
He is set to join the University of Houston Cougars football team next year.
