KEMAH, Texas (KTRK) -- After Hurricane Harvey, production in the shrimping industry slowed down due to the diminished fleet.
Seabrook Seafood said it lost close to $100,000 and wants to be able to catch more shrimp in the season.
Shoppers at Rose's Seafood in Kemah have noticed to changing prices.
"It's the holidays so you always want to cut back on some things so you have other things for the holidays," Pam Trojanowski said.
The last effort to bounce back from Harvey will be the upcoming shopping season.
