Calf scramble gets Rodeo Houston off to exciting start

HOUSTON -- The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo got off to an exciting start, and it wouldn't be a complete night of rodeo action without the always-popular Calf Scramble!

On Tuesday night 13 boys and 17 girls were pitted against each other in their efforts to corral 15 calves. Those who succeeded in placing a bridle on the calf and returning to the center circle won scholarship funds.
