Hidden cash found at Discovery Green
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The group that starting hiding cash for people to find in California made their way to Houston, leaving money at Discovery Green for people to find today.
We knew the group was coming to Houston, but we didn't know where the cash would be hidden until this morning when the following tweet was put out by @hiddencash: "Discovery Green Park. They are all in between the playground, lake house, and the stage along the lake. Look under benches etc."
One of the organizers for @hiddencash, Jason Buzi, spoke with Eyewitness News this morning and did ask that whoever finds the cash to tweet about the discovery and tweet photos as well.
This may encourage the organization to do future drops in the Houston area.
The group was expected to hide between $1,000 and $1,500.
