HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Toll Road Authority has paused the toll violation invoicing process allowing drivers to catch up on unpaid tolls.
HCRA will mail courtesy letters to drivers requesting payment for unpaid tolls from September 25 through October 6, 2017.
Customers will have 10 business days from the mailing date to resolve unpaid tolls.
If you're an EZ TAG customer receiving the letter, it means action is needed on your account.
Some of the common reasons EZ TAG customers receive toll violations are because of a failed payment method.
HCTRA offers a fee reduction program for drivers who are eligible.
