FULLERTON, CA -- Two men and a woman were found dead in a Fullerton home Saturday morning after police "received a call from a child indicating that her parents had 'died,'" authorities said.
After the Fullerton Police Department's dispatch center received the girl's call at 8:21 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Gilbert Street where they discovered the three deceased adults, according to a news release from the agency. The girl and another child were also located inside the residence, unharmed.
The woman and the two men were not immediately identified, and it was unclear of the relationships between the children and victims.
The incident is being investigated as a triple homicide, authorities said.
"This is obviously a tragic event," the police statement said. "The Fullerton Police Department has committed all its resources to identify who is responsible for committing this act."
